In practice: checklist

  • List every EU-bound product with its 8-digit CN code, confirmed with your buyer.
  • Mark each as unwrought aluminium (7601) or aluminium product.
  • Flag products under 7602 or 7615: out of scope today.
  • Group CN codes that differ only in size or shape.
  • Decide whether a joint "bubble" process is possible.
  • Remove electricity emissions from any transitional-period calculations.
  • Record full product mass per CN code.
