In practice: checklist

  • Count AL as saleable goods plus goods transferred as precursors; exclude scrap, off-spec and waste.
  • Measure precursor input (Mi) where it enters the process, before cutting or trimming.
  • Calculate ae, mi and SEE per CN code (or mandatory group) for the year.
  • Look up your country's default value, add the mark-up, and compare with your actual SEE.
  • Keep at most 5 decimals in SEE and round yearly totals to whole tonnes.
