Module 7 of 9 · A5 · Monitoring and reporting at an aluminium installation
7.The monitoring plan
Written in English, with 22 minimum elements. The ones that matter most for aluminium:
- installation, processes, routes and goods by CN code;
- benchmarks relevant for the free allocation adjustment;
- methods, instruments and their locations;
- source streams per process;
- the PFC monitoring method (primary smelters);
- a boundary diagram with no double counting or gaps;
- precursors and their suppliers;
- a control system: calibration, data-flow risks, IT controls, internal review, record keeping.
Any "not technically feasible" or "unreasonable cost" justification must be written in the plan.
SIMPLIFIED A plant that only cuts, welds or finishes can keep its plan very short.
