In practice: checklist

  • List every CBAM-good input per process with supplier, installation and country.
  • Add CBAM data clauses to supply contracts: verified SEE, verification report, period, route, parameters.
  • Check each supplier's verifier is accredited for aluminium.
  • Keep mill certificates proving installation and country.
  • Separate primary and secondary metal in stock records.
  • Decide per process: proven segregation or weighted average.
  • Record EU and exempt-origin quantities even though they count as zero.
