5.PFCs: Method B, overvoltage method

Use this if you record the anode effect overvoltage (AEO) in mV:

  • CF4 (t) = OVC × (AEO ÷ current efficiency %) × primary aluminium (t) × 0,001
  • C2F6 (t) = CF4 × F_C2F6

Default factors: CWPB 1,16 and 0,121; SWPB 3,65 and 0,252. Both methods are equally valid; pick the one that fits your pot-line control system.
