8.The operator's emissions report and the aluminium parameters

When actual values are used, you send an operator's emissions report (in English) to the verifier. It includes total emissions, goods and quantities per process, SEE per good, the share based on defaults, and precursor data.

You must also give your buyer three aluminium parameters per product:

  1. tonnes of scrap used per tonne of product;
  2. % of that scrap that is pre-consumer;
  3. total % of non-aluminium elements, if above 1 %.

WATCH OUT The published template example (v2.1, June 2024) was built for the transitional period and still shows electricity emissions. For aluminium today, only the direct SEE counts. The template is recommended, not mandatory.
