6.From PFCs to CO2e, and fugitive emissions

  • CO2e = CF4 × 6 630 + C2F6 × 11 100.
  • Fugitive emissions: total = PFCs measured in the duct ÷ collection efficiency.
  • Recommended: own factors from field measurements at least every three years (or after process changes), with uncertainty within ±15 %.
